I enjoyed my First Class seat tonight. As this was my very first time there I was in awe as they served me. May we get you a beverage or cocktail. Me: what do you have? Them: everything. I didnt do anything to deserve my upgrade. I didnt pay for it. I was just simply chosen. They didnt do a background check first and see if I was good enough they simply gave me the gift of luxury. How often do we miss beautiful opportunities and gifts in life because we think we have to earn them through performance when we have always been loved and had access to the Gift?! Maybe you could apply this metaphor to something in your life today.
