I ensured that all Board members, administrators, lawyers, and most of those in attendance at the October Board Meeting tonight received a copy of the letter to Board President Ranade from the ACLU letting her know that her actions are ILLEGAL. They are in violation of the Open Public Meetings Act and Jersey City Code. Unfortunately, she refused to turn the cameras back on or even address the letter that she was given. In fact, the ACLU told me today that she has not even responded to the letter that was FAXED and mailed to her on October 8th. Ms. Ranade has not even provided a copy of this letter to the other Board members. Well, they have a copy as of tonight. Now lets see if they continue to break the law. I want to thank the ACLU for taking on my case and continuing to work with me to let the Board know that this is America and they will not get away with this illegal action. I also want to thank Ms. Marilyn Roman for speaking out against this as soon as it was implemented. Contacting the NJ School Board Association and the NJ School Ethics Committee tomorrow to apprise them of this. Let the ethics violations begin. Gerald - Mr. L
