I expected a classic lazy sunday and I got a classic lazy sunday. The sun came out and I enjoyed some lovely sun puddles, but I also enjoyed the lap, the hammock and the the cat tree. And the human and I played with the elastic string again today and I enjoyed that too! Oh, and dont forget the yogurt. I had that too and of course I enjoyed it, but I seem a little less enthusiastic about yogurt lately. I dont know if Dushi enjoyed her day as much as I did. The video I posted earlier today was made yesterday, but today wasnt one of her best days either. The was a very short moment of tension between her and me again and I think she took it out on Jinx when she was outside. The first half of the day she had one of her meowing moods again too. She meowed and meowed and meowed... And when she does that, she does it LOUD! She really got on the humans nerves, but since the human doesnt know why she does it, she doesnt get mad at Dushi. When the human let her out, Jinx was in the backyard, but he left right away. The human stayed outside with Dushi and played a little with her. While they were still playing, Jinx came back already. Dushi wasnt happy about that and growled him away again. Only this time he didnt leave the backyard and he didnt flee into his apartment either. He sneaked through a hole in the fence to the neighbors backyard. The human came back inside a little later, but when she heard growling outside, she went to see what was going on. She found out the growling came from the neighbors backyard. She cant see whats going on there and she cant get there either, so she tried calling Dushi. After a short while it wasnt Dushi, but Jinx who appeared. Dushi followed shortly after that and this time Jinx hid under the garden table. Dushi wanted to come back inside with the human then, so peace returned for Jinx. The human then started to read on the internet about why Dushi could be meowing so much and so loud and what she found was that Dushi might be showing some early signs of cat dementia. I hope thats not the case and so does the human. She will now take an extra close eye on Dushi and maybe consult the vet soon. Does any of you have any experience with a dementing cat? If so; the human would love to hear about your experiences, especially about the early stages.. Back inside Dushi meowed some more and then went to sleep on the cupboard. Shes been calm and quiet since. She played a little by herself and also had some lovely snuggles with the human. I hope for the human shell be calm and quiet tonight too. Jinx got to snuggle with the human again too. She sat on the kitchen floor with him and he gave her sandpaper kisses again The human discovered he likes to walk through her long hair when she bows her head. They also sat forehead to forehead for quite a long time and according to the human that felt like a really special moment. I think Jinx is showing her his appreciation for what she does for him. Were gonna watch some tv this evening and snuggle some more. Just like its supposed to be on a lazy sunday. So have a nice day/night, friends. Im gonna enjoy my lazy sunday some more.
