I feel like I am the guinea pig in this test reporting and am - TopicsExpress

I feel like I am the guinea pig in this test reporting and am thinking some people must not be reporting, because this is not easy. But I truly have wanted to find out all I could about dwarfism for YEARS and share the knowledge. And it is turning out to be like John Eberth and Tony Greaves told me they suspected years ago... a huge percentage! So here are my latest results. I got three more today. First, again I was THRILLED that my tiny 26.75 sable champagne stallion, HHH Little Champagne Starbuck tested to be N/N for all 4 mutations. Then I got results on my little gold champagne mare Jewell and she is N/D2. And finally I was very surprised that my stallion Kiltys Knickers of Bar Bar E is N/D1. I had never seen a dwarf in the herd he came from for over 25 years and feel it is probably because D1 dwarfs never live and are probably usually aborted early. His Grandsire was my beloved Tiny Acres Rambo and I never ever had a dwarf from Rambo either or never saw one aborted either as far as that goes, and I think now that he probably carried the D1 gene. I leased him to Bar Bar E back in 1999 to 2002. Knickers sire is a son of Rambo so that might be where he got it. Rambo was Bar Bar E on his dams side and Soats on his sires side.
