I feel like I have been awarded some great honor! I have been selected for jury duty in Greensboro! Ive been calling in for the last 5 weeks on Sunday nights to find out if Im to be up there on Monday mornings. They track every call in by a juror number you enter when you call. For the last 5 Sunday nights, the recording has said I am not needed. Then I get a call Wednesday of this week that I am to report on Monday morning. So I make myself a note not to forget. Then they call tonight to say forget about Monday, show up Tuesday. But dont forget to still call in Sunday night. OMG! It seems the court system is trying to make its pool of jurors fall into a contempt of court, by failing to appear. Im about to get a little pissed off about this! Here I am trying to remember to do what Im suppose to do to keep from getting into trouble, and they are playing the gotcha game!
