I feel like I was let in on a little secret in church today. If I could go back, even to last year, and what I want to fiercely hold onto in the future is this... present problems and conflicts are not the end of the story, but a tiny moment in a tiny day in a VERY BIG story. I need to give God time to sanctify me and those around me and stop reacting to every uncomfortable situation like Ive been stung by a bee, flailing about, running blindly, wringing my hands in despair. There are bigger things at work here than what I can see and feel. So next time I get stung, Im praying that I will hold tight, cling to the truth, and wait a minute to see how God will answer my prayers and resolve my issues in a way that will bring glory to Him and shine beautiful light on the power of the gospel. Because that is always His will. I think it is a simple matter of looking up instead of down. Out instead of in. At Him and His word instead of me. #Sundayfunday
