I feel like Im the only one who thinks Frozen was a mediocre movie at best; heres why. Elsa is a terrible character, she never gets over slightly injuring her sister and casts her out entirely, and when she embraces her powers finally, shes still afraid to hurt her sister, during Let it go she seemed pretty in control, I guess they forgot they still may need to make a plot. Anna is actually a fun character, although very 2 dimensional, the whole lets get married today thing was insanely annoying, that was the first guy she even saw, and her ending was deux ex machina, which is lazy. I do like Olaf, hes hilarious, thats pretty much it, his knowledge of summer confuses me though. Kristoff is a likeable character, although hes about as transparent as Anna. Hans is an asshole. Thats all. Dont get me started on the muddy plot, this movie bounces off corners like Sonic the Hedgehog on cocaine, I do like how they come back to the trolls, and the message of love, it just could have been executed better. Im not saying Frozen is a terrible movie, I just dont believe it deserves as much praise as its receiving.
