I feel like Orson Scott Card is basically just trolling the nation. Dude wrote a deeply humanist take on the horror of war and the senseless tragedies bigotry and xenophobia inevitably cause. At the same time, he was advocating armed insurrection over the issue of gay marriage and spewing jingoistic racism. The cognitive dissonance between the compassion and wisdom he writes for profit and the narrow minded hate he blogs about for fun would be too much for anybody to deal with if he were serious. Well played, Mr. Card, but I can see through you. You cant fool me. :)
