I feel like in the last week I have learnt so much more about photography than I had ever before. Until yesterday I had no idea who Gregory Crewdson was. I walked into the Wellington City Gallery over an hour later walked out thinking differently about what photography can be. I also walked out with his book of works and a desire to go back with a bottle of Tequila and sit there for many more hours just viewing and experiencing the huge prints of his work on the walls. If you are in Wellington this is a must see.
