I feel so much safer now after seeing this picture.... This whole over-zealous protectionism against terrorism in the homeland situation makes me think about an old comedy skit by Robin Williams. I think it was meant to be anti-gun in nature, but I received it as a paranoid and frightened society thats gone off the deep end, and the whole family freaks out and pulls out a gun and threatens to shoot when any of them comes home or moves.... FREEZE! DONT MOVE OR ILL SHOOT! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU! This leads me into what our Federal Government is being pressured about at the moment.... Immigration Reform..... My thought: SECURE OUR BORDERS, FIRST, DAMNNIT!!!!!! PERIOD!!!!!! Then you can talk about a path to citizenship for all those potential, non-English-speaking, Democratic voters. Correct me if Im wrong, but I think there was an immigration reform law that was passed in 1986 or something, and that its just not being enforced for some reason. What changed in how illegal immigrants are coming here has forced us to change those laws. ....Or.... do we just need to start enforcing those old laws? Im hopeless today! Sorry! The overall stupidity and lack of common-sense acceptance meter red-lined and flipped me off before it broke.
