I feel so sorry for the kids who tested this week. A five hour test? Why? What exactly are we measuring here? Both days I had some pretty big boys sitting in desks, trying to focus while folding their bodies into positions not meant for bodies at all. Im proud Of the kids. They were amazing. I dont think I could have sat that long quietly reading and writing. Sure hope the Moms Against Drunk Testing get this fixed. The test in and of itself isnt a bad thing. Holding kids hostage for entire days because politicians have sold out to reformers is a terrible waste of a school day.
