I feel that it is time for someone from DOT come in and talk to our maintenance shop on the importance of a couple of things. When a driver refuses to pull a trailer because it has NO LIGHTS except for turn signals, we are breaking the law or if we get into an accident(whether its our fault or not) it will be the drivers fault. If we get a ticket, it goes ONTO our license and CSA score and stays there 3 yrs. We get too many, we lose our job. I feel that they let that saving of the almighty $$ get in the way of rational thinking..but why not, theyre not going to lose their job!
