I feel that my life has been drained out of me like an exhausted fat fish. I bit down on that tasty bait and was ever so surprised. I was suddenly yanked out of the water with a hook in my lip. Out of the air, I landed on a dock. I flopped around flipping this way and that as the setting sun had glistened on the water and blood. I’m ’trying my best, but the kid’s dirty sneaker forced all of his weight pressing hard on my spine against a plank of wood. He yanked the hook right out of my lip, then picked me up and threw me in his bucket. Is this the end, I thought? Within the white fish-bucket, I could hear the croaking frogs as the night was slowly arriving and the temperature had dropped. I could hear him laughing. Then I heard the laughing of a girl. They were dancing together to the music of youth. I realized the time of my life was drawing to a close. Im stuck in this bucket with dirty flies landing on my skin. This isnt my choice.
