I figure I owe an update with our move... the Pods arrived last Wednesday. Mark and I spent the entire Labor Day Weekend moving zillions of boxes and items to the second floor Duplex and the basement. Thursday evening, we had a few muscled guys move the furniture (thanks Ben, Sean and Bens son/Girlfriend). There were times I cringed and closed my eyes.... the pieces were big and heavy. I do not know how they got it into tight quarters on second floor. But they did it! My most heartfelt appreciation. They worked super hard. On Wednesday and Friday, our awesome neighbors and friends helped move the boxes. A whole pod full.... I mean packed with boxes. It was a little embarrassing to realize how much stuff I have. They moved the incredibly heavy (I had probably 30 plus boxes of books) boxes up the stairs and down the stairs. I thought I died. I had never sweat or hurt so much. While I was grumbling, my dear friends kept quoting positive statements constantly. I thought I was going to literally bite her head off. Thank you my dear friends.... Jessalyn Akerman-Frank, Lys Akerman-Frank, Krissy Cinealis, Sam, AJ, and Ben. We owe you a fabulous dinner and dessert and more! Lesson learned? Hire professional movers! Leave the achy bones, sore muscles, crabby moods, sweaty bodies, and stress to people who do this for a living. Geesh.... I think Im too old for this. All in all, the biggest lesson I have learned.... is treasure the friends that supported you no matter what. I felt so blessed and lucky to end up with this bunch of crazy people who were willing to move boxes for us....to the very last box. Thats a sign that Mark W. Zangara and I are meant to be in St. Paul. I feel very fortunate right now. Thank you my special friends. Mark and I are very grateful and appreciative. We hope to repay you some day with a deed in need. Much Love and Peace. Now we unpack.... the saga continues.
