I find it absurd that I should even feel compelled to write about this right now, in the year 2014, when men and women are equals in every aspect. But it seems quite a few men have not grasped this concept yet., therefore I am. So, for those men, here it is- When we (women, that is) are walking/running outdoors, it is NOT for your entertainment. We are doing so to be healthy, fit, and to better ourselves. We are not objects on the side of the road waiting for you to stare/honk/holler at us. It is not only aggravating, but extremely demeaning. So from now on, before hollering at any woman, imagine she is your mom, your daughter, your sister, or any other woman you care about. Would you want an older, grotesque man yelling at her? I didnt think so. Also, if you werent yelling from a large truck on the side of a busy road and had the courage to do so while standing next to her, she could probably beat your ass. That is all I have on feminism today. Enjoy the rest of your day everyone, and a big shout out to all the respectable men out there. Im sorry for the raunchy guys giving your gender a bad name.
