I find it funny that so many here are completely offended by the very concept of Skyrim 2, to the point of rage (it used to irritate me, until I gave a seconds thought). Anybody remember Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare followed up by Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2? The thought of a direct sequel to The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim being The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim 2 could logically follow, if the sequel takes place soon after TES5, and includes Skyrim as the pivotal setting. An example would be a follow-up story involving the dragonborn pursuing the emperors throne or a war against the Aldmeri Dominion following the events of Skyrim. That would be a direct link to Skyrim - hence a title of Skyrim 2. ...so there.
