I find it quite amusing the amount of photographers that complain constantly about how ANYONE can buy a camera and become a photographer, yet when you bring up CPP certification (Certified Professional Photographer) through PPA( Professional Photographers of America), they get all defensive and are like, I dont need to be certified! You cant complain about something, then not want to be part of the process that is trying to make it where you have to show proof of your qualifications. I look forward to getting my CPP. If every photographer that took their craft seriously worked hard for and obtained their CPP, then after a while it would become the standard. But too many would rather sit back and complain and wait for something to be done about it, like its just going to happen on its own, Its not. But Im happy to be working towards mine and be one more Certified Professional Photographer out there.
