I find it so interesting that open dialogue does not exist, particularly on Facebook. People cannot grasp the concept of engaging in conversation that encourages an exchange of thoughts or ideas or opinions. That concept is so foreign to some. There is no listening, only a monopolization of conversation, that is actually just a one-sided barrage of anger that spills out as a result of someone else not accepting your statements as truth. Demanding that others believe exactly as the narrow-minded is not only ridiculously naïve but borders on a form of hysteria that is comedic. There is no acceptance of someone elses perception or perspective. Only your own. There is no understanding of someones elses experience or beliefs. It is your way, your viewpoint, your value system, and you will hammer it out, expounding your truth and making an attempt to force-feed others your reality, all in an effort to gain momentum for your cause. Obnoxious nonsense. In what world is it acceptable to send someone pms or post comments that are vehemently abusive? I am quite certain you would be too fearful to expose yourself publicly (OFF line) with such anger and rage. It is safer to hide behind a computer screen then to behave like an intelligent human being. Your aggressive attempts at verbal abuse are laughable at best. So while I have always encouraged discussion of different perspectives, while I have always supported and encouraged the opposing viewpoint, I will not tolerate verbal abuse. Whether it is in a pm (which apparently makes several of you feel quite brave) or posting numerous comments loaded with inaccuracies, I will not permit this page or my private inbox to be a format for your ridiculous tirades. I have already blocked some of you and will be blocking and unfriending others. Truth is important to me. Loyalty is important to me. Compassion, understanding, acceptance and respect are values I hold to. If you do not, that is your issue, not mine.
