I find joy when I see the smile on a babies face, the whisper of an evening breeze, and the sound of a river after a winter thaw. I find joy when I see an acorn the squirrels didnt find alive and breaking ground. I find joy when I taste ice-cream on a hot day, love on a cool night and coffee in the morning. I find joy watching a cat looking out the window and winter looking back. I find joy in old age, youth and wrinkles that dont hurt. I find joy in honesty, myth and magic. I find joy in nakedness and while wearing a suit and tie. I find joy when I can feel my heart touch another. When someones heart touches mine and we share a smile, a dream and an eternity. I feel joy when I hear laughter or sing a folk song. A midnight dance and morning poetry bring me joy. I feel joy looking back, looking forward and turning time inside out. I feel joy when I hug a friend, a lover and a dream. I feel joy remembering the good things people have done for me and the good things I have done for others. ~Bob Luckin.
