I find myself going over the Restoration of the New and Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ upon the earth which occurred long after the time of the apostasy when death was administered to the apostles who held the proper authority from Jesus Christ to administer His Gospel unto the children of men and to perform miracles and sacred ordinances in His name. Spiritual darkness came upon the face of the earth after Gods Priesthood was taken away after the death of the last Apostle. Hence the authority to perform miracles and sacred ordinances in His name also ceased. The True and Everlasting Gospel which was taught became a ground for contention one to another since the power to uphold truth was gone and much of the scriptures were taken away or destroyed. I know that God would not just want to save a few of us. What then will become of our brothers and sisters who died before the coming of Christ and after the apostasy occurred, are they lost? God knows us individually and loves us as we are spirits of His spirit thus we are indeed His literal spirit children. I also know that God remains the same today, yesterday and forever and if it is His mission to bring to pass the eternal life and immortality of man, how will He make this happen while spiritual darkness still exists? I watched the video, over and over and it teaches me more about our Heavenly Father. Yes, He does act in His own time and His wisdom leaves us baffled but He being all wise and all powerful leaves us in awe. He chooses children upon earth who has weaknesses, to do His work and He makes their weakness their strengths. As I said, He knows us individually and knows our temperance in such away that He assigns duties to those He knows have the ability to fulfill His will. One example of this is Abraham, He was been tested but the Lord already knew that Abraham had it in him to pass this test. Abrahams faith was stretched and I know Abraham never thought this was ever going to happen to him. When God decided that the time was right to restore the True and Everlasting Gospel, it was made new for He restored all things back to its original form including the scriptures which was lost or destroyed, His Priesthood and the authority to act on behalf of God. He restored His gospel through a teenage boy who was seeking to know truth in the 1800s. This boy scarcely know what his enquiring mind and his pure seeking heart would bring, and the role he will have to play. I will post the video on the Restoration for all to see. To understand the things of God, it is imperative that we become like children, seeking to know truth and eager to listen to the Spirit as it testifies of truth as you watch the video. I did that, and I was filled with the spirit in so much that the exceeding great joy I felt make me want to shout, Hosanna to God in the Highest! I know you can get that testimony too.
