I find this an incredibly useful online community, with lots of valuable information being shared around. There are also some very funny posts, which make me laugh. In a grouping as large and eclectic as this one - 10,000 members and I guess a couple of hundred who post regularly, differences of opinion are inevitable - I enjoy having my ideas challenged and being able to accept the point of view of others without the need to agree with it. What I have found disappointing of late is not the aggression or perhaps even bullying by posters who dont appreciate the breadth of views and possibly breadth of wisdom thatss inevitable on the revolving door that is Ubud. Not every one has the ability to make a fully comprehensive post off the bat, but often I feel the responses lack respect and criticise the poster prematurely rather than seeking for clarification. It would be good, I think, if posters were more considered before they ask for something and responders gave the benefit of the doubt before firing their critical comments off...
