I find this to be true for instrumentalists and bell ringers, as well. Nothing more stress relieving than joining with other musicians in an orchestra or band, or in a bell tower. Last night, after a very intense choral recording session, it was wonderful to go up in the Washington Cathedral bell tower and join 9 other ringers (including 5 visiting ringers from UK) for a relaxing go at Yorkshire Surprise Royal, London Surprise Major, and my first ever plain course (aside from splicing bits with other methods) of Cassiobury Surprise Major. Then a pub outing at District 2 completed an exhilarating evening. Music in its many forms soothes the soul!
