I find your good guy/ bad guy articles interesting gentleman but, on this one, I had to call out Joel because facts are facts. The statement The poor have it easy in America is a 100% TRUE statement.Our poor are NOTHING like the poor in nearly every other country. Let me explain and as I make my point, please remember the Labor participation rate currently at 62.8%. Americana that COULD work, choose not to.......why is that? In my circles, and I am 56, there are two types of poor in America. Those who are truely seeking employment, education and a better life. I would say this group comprises about 30% of poor. I WANT to help them. Find them a break, an opportunity, and if we have to subsidize them for 6-9 months, so be it. They have the desire to be self-supporting. They deserve a chance. Then theres the other 70% of our poor and due to the policies of Obama & the democrats, this segment of America is GROWING at an alarming rate. They dont want to work. They believe they are OWED something. They see themselves as victims. They are convinced the system is unfair. ALL talking points of the liberal playbook. They have one career objective: TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SYSTEM. They have become experts on how to apply and receive every conceivable benefit our Govt offers. No work is required. No drug-test is required. Nothing is required of them to qualify and if their is......they simply lie. I have seen and known these people..........AND I DONT WANT TO HELP THESE LAZY SCAMMERS. There are documented cases where these low-lifes can bring in $50-60,000 annually........and you damn liberals keep fighting for these poor victims. They are DRAINING our treasury and destroying country and political system. THEY VOTE FOR WHO WILL KEEP THE GRAVY-TRAIN system going. I am a TAXPAYER and I resent this crime. Romney was absolutely correct. 47% of Americans PAY NO FEDERAL TAXES......in otherwards, they consume the bulk of Govt entitlement and have NO SKIN in the game. So Joel, you can bash the GOP attitude, but I agree with it, because for the greater good of our country........this FREE LUNCH must STOP........NOW. Dave Bennett
