I finished reading Herbert West- Re-Animator today. Other than the basic premise of the story, the movie deviated quite a bit from the original story. I guess revisions had to be made to keep it relevant to the year it was made (1985). Such stories as this from Lovecraft, entails some of the history current with the time period, which makes them more interesting and myself curious. What better place to get all the bodies Dr. West wants other than from the Great War? World War I. This is the book Ive read the story from and nearly finished with it:
