I firmly Believe that the Grand Juries decisions in Ferguson, Missouri and New York, New York were WRONG ! They are a disgrace to the diseased, the accused , our legal system and our Country! First I Believe we must be aware of three important facts the definition of what a grand jury functions are, the disparity in how they preform that function when a private citizen is before them vs a Police officer and last the horrible inequalities that still exist in our Country. 1. Grand jury - A jury that determines whether sufficient evidence is available to justify a trial. Binney) 2. When a citizen comes before a grand jury they are almost always indicted. When a police officer comes before a grand jury they are almost never indicted.
