I first came here to Germany believing this was all for Allisons behalf. To bless her, give her some good memories that she could hold onto in the stormy times that are ahead and beyond. But as so often happens when the Lord is in the middle of things, He had other plans. This trip has helped to renew my love for God. Renewed my passion to finish this race well and my desire to tell others about His great love. I had been asked by a few pastors in the states to come share with their church, till now I had been reluctant to take them up on it. Last nights opportunity to share at Calvary Chapel Herborn changed that in my heart. Seeing the expressions on many of the faces as I shared made it very clear to me that He is not done with me yet. Another amazing thing that has been an outcome of this trip is I have found myself falling in love with my wife all over again. The enemy has a way of steal and destroy. After 34 years of life together there has been many thing gone under the bridge. This time together has shown me just how much the Lord blessed me bringing Allison into my life. Maybe its time spent in the city of love, Paris but I feel like this trip has brought us back together as nothing ever has. I proclaim to the world that I love you Allison Sands-Welsh.
