I first encountered the fascinating work of Claude Shannon when reading Professor Vlatko Vedrals amazing book Decoding Reality late last year. I am really pleased to see that another of my intellectual heroes, Professor David Deutsch has applied Shannons work to suggest a new model of reality he terms Constructor Theory, a Theory of Everything (TOE) bringing together quantum theory and classical theory in a unified single model of reality.
