I for one am proud/glad/thankful that she said YES and ran!! Great piece my friend and more importantly, v.v. important!! Now that I see ( from the inside) the enormous task elected leaders undertake, I am grateful to ALL ( men and women) who dedicate their lives to this worthy endeavor. I can say however, we need more voices at the table - and not just women, but women with families/mothers of young children, women who are/were young professionals in this community and women business owners. As a member of all three of those categories I see alot of the "female" perspective in those areas missing -- Kristin, Mary Ann and Nancy are doing the best they can -- but we need more voices at the table!!
