I for one loath the idea that Republicans are fighting with conservatives, but if a war for the Party must be waged, so be it. If it cost us, so be it. The GOP is lost. For far too long, the Republican establishment has been viewed by many within the party, not as a group who is morally and fiscally responsible and conservative as the party once was, but as a group of self-preservationist. We are easy to attack as too many of our leaders are damn hypocrites. I would plead with my fellow American’s who claim allegiance to the Democrat party to consider similar action. Those of you who love America before Party will consider my words carefully. If you’re a God fearing Democrat who believed in Kennedy and King’s message, take your party back. Today’s Democrat has absolutely nothing in common with Martin Luther King or the Kennedy Administration. Together, if we knock a few of these House and Senate leaders down a peg or two, we just might be able to get back to what we truly enjoy, our family and our work. However, today, our country is in peril and needs our attention. The enemy is on Capitol Hill on both sides of the aisle. If we join forces for a few years, we can accomplish anything. True, I am an idealist, but so were our Founding Fathers and I know the righteous will prevail.
