I forgot about that I was going to write on how to beat your smart meters..well perhaps later I will do just that.I build renewable energy systems as one does eh....Lets start with I had a conversation with the guy that tested them here for our government and told them they were not up to standard..then we will explore why across the board a lot of my customers have seen at least a 20% extra increase in electricity usage with them and the extreme cases of an extra 5k to 30 k on their electricity prices..Then I can show you how they are running on windows software that can be remotely adjusted to enhance percentages and the fact its possible to probably hack the entire smart meter system at some point which one Mr anonymous should be able to handle you would think.then discuss how they could also possibly access your home computer..e back to this post I will write it slowly and add as I see fit..Heres my first practical example of fooling the meter..I have a customer he wanted to save power, so what he did was install some solar panels to his house roof, then fed them into a small battery bank and then out a 240v inverter..now practically one would theoretically use a grid tied meter and feed it out via your meter, now instead what he did which by the way I do not condone and is most likely illegal on several fronts is plug his inverter into your standard power point on the wall, what this did was feed power into the house which theoretically other appliances will use before they pull power from the grid..well what really happened was the cheap Chinese inverter was not feeding in at say 50 to 60 hz but at a different frequency, this confused the smart meter to a point where it was not registering what was coming in from the grid..the addition of batteries to this persons system allowed this to occur 24 hours a day..that there is first example of fooling the smart meter for free or as one would say a gift that cost nothing from the power company..
