I forgot my child is child neglect regardless of why the child was forgotten. The only question is if it was premeditated murder or involuntary manslaughter. Buying insurance any time during the childs life from conception to death, Googleing car deaths of children in hot cars recently and then absentmindedly forgetting the child is unattended do not add up to the behavior of parents concerned with the childs welfare from the get-go. And yes, I believe the mother and father are partners, stupid and desperate enough to have cooked up this godawful plan to profit from the accidental death, translation double indemnity of this poor hapless childs life. What kind of daycare doesnt follow-up with parents when children no-show? Who took the child to daycare normally? If the father did, he has no excuse to forget. If the mother did she should have checked up to make sure he arrived safely since if this guy is this truly dumb he probably forgets important things all the time. My guess is this is premeditated murder and both parents are guilty. I have heard no evidence that would not convict both of them beyond a doubt as murders in the first degree. Though money would not be my first guess as to their sole motive. The story here is deeper, and sicker than accidental death which is normally wrought with shock, fear, anger, horror, guilty, shame, and emotional breakdown, not stiff lipped cold hearted defense. In any case, the poor child is better off without these 2 nuts torturing him in untold ways.
