I found out today that I will have to have surgery to repair the rotator cuff tear. The reason is because of where the tear is located. I never thought for a moment when I fell almost 4 weeks ago that I tore a tendon that would require surgery to repair it. I assumed I simply bruised it. I now just want to get it fixed so I can sleep again. I am unable to lay down because it is so painful. No matter how I lay, it does not release the pain. I am good all day long, unless I move a certain way. But because where the tear is, it makes it impossible to lay down without pain. They gave me pain meds and I upchucked them. I cannot take pain meds unless it is in a liquid form. (Plus, I do not like taking medication - yuk). I hope to have this procedure in the next week and move pass this silly little fall I had a few weeks ago. Goofy Jeanne!
