I found some hounds on a country road known for people dumping their unwanted animals. I have found several other animals in pretty bad shape on this particular road, I personally pay for all of their vetting and find them approved homes/family.The hounds have been overwhelmingly difficult to find homes/rescue/foster unfortunately. I found a home for one of them, she was a little more socialized. Ive had a harder time placing a male named Elvis and a female named Ellie. Their issue is that they are shy of EVERYTHING but my coworkers and myself. I cant afford a trainer to work with them and If I didnt live in a townhome with no fence and five personal dogs, they would just live with me,I just dont have the room for two more. The hounds currently live at the veterinarian clinic where I work. I have pay for their boarding which I dont mind, but it does get costly. I have tried many ways to get them rescued/fostered/adopted, I have taken them to my local humane society for a month on the terms they be returned to me if no home was found this is how the one got adopted, I have taken them on Saturdays to a local adoption agency with no luck, I have tried listing them on multiple rescues petfinder pages with no luck. Needless to say I need help finding them permanent placement. I hate seeing them in a kennel situation, all though our kennels are huge and they get plenty of daily exercise, I take them out for walks in wooded park trails. They still have a good attitude considering how long they have been there. Its just not a home of their own and they deserve that. They have been microchipped ,spayed/neutered, vaccinated and heartworm tested (negative) currently on prevention. They are located in Homewood,AL which is right outside of Birmingham I am attaching their photos. If your rescue can help please feel free to contact me at jlsosebee@hotmail or my work (205)871-8186 ask for Tiffaney regarding the hounds. Thank you for your time! Tiffaney Sosebee
