I found this EXTREMELY interesting, especially as a student of psychology. For anyone who has ever wondered why you prefer taking a selfie on snapchat vs taking one with the camera on iPhone ( or for non iPhone users--an image of yourself that is flipped. The image that you have of yourself is different than the image friends and family have of you. When we see that picture that we think is ugly because its flipped is actually the way other people see us! We prefer our mirror image because thats what were used to seeing!
