I found this cut while I was cleaning out my drives tonight and thought some of you who are Drive-By Truckers fans might appreciate it.. I was pickin with a couple friends for a webcast last summer, and when it came time for me to sign off, someone asked me to sing a song that was special to me.. Well, as I was finishing Stripped To The Root, this song became my anthem. I was plagued with frustration, loss, betrayal, and all kinds of set-backs. I felt like I was coming unraveled.. and fortunately for me, just as I was ready to give up the ghost, Mr. Cooleys song was just what I needed to be reminded of the fact that I wasnt alone, and that I had to keep on..
