I found this especially interesting as one our families late and very dear friends Ivan Tennyson was the 6th. franchise of Pizza Hut. He started in Fairfield, Iowa with one store. One time when we were rooming together racing Ivan told me he & Rachele had $40.00 in the drawer just before opening that first store. But Ivan looked out the window and they were lined up for a block to get into this new restaurant so Ivan KNEW it was going to make it. Now Tennyson Ent. has Pizza Huts all over Iowa, Mn. & Illinois. He became a millionaire before he was 20 years old but Ivan loved to go race with us. He even did on head on the T/F car but you NEVER had to check his work, he was THAT good. Even though Ivan was in board meetings and running a huge enterprise through the week, on the weekend you take him racing (well he took us racing in his jet) get him dirty, give him a hot dog and a Pepsi and Ivan was happy. Had a heart of gold. I sure do miss my friend.
