I found this technique useful - I like to create a preliminary drawing in Illustrator on the computer, then transfer it to my art board and draw the final drawing in ink by hand. I was sick of using graphite transfer paper and a ball point pen, especially with this last project, working so small. By the time I draw something 3 or 4 times, Im getting burned out on it! Not to mention the time it takes. So, the ink you end up with transferred to your final surface is not erasable like pencil would be, but chances are its covered up anyway.
