I found this to be true....but depending how clogged your liver/gallbladder is this may be difficult to do. Even coconut oil was a hardship for me to tolerate in the beginning. I still recommend cooking with it to the amount that is tolerable and then increasing over time is better vs. taking Tbps. of it straight. Time spent on consuming green juices, powder greens and eating veggies in general helped clean these organs up enough to be able to process this better. Nut/seed milks and butters, and avocado were easier to get in until I could work in more olive and coconut oil and animal fat in the form of ghee for me. Animal fat and digesting meat is still a challenge so I favor plants more but find fish oil and ghee do significant wonders for my skin beyond what carrots can do for sure.....
