I fundamentally disagree with the concept of MOBO, (Musicians Of Black Origin), as in the MOBO awards. Three points if I may: 1. What would they say if someone set up a counter organisation - MOWO?.. I can only imagine the hullabaloo from the sanctimonious.. 2. Surely the essence of countering racism is to attempt to eradicate any demarcation line. MOBO, or MOWO), only serve to highlight any difference. 3. At what point does someone become eligible to come within the bounds of MOBO? What if someone was half black, or a quarter black, or an eighth etc etc?... We are all human beings. My colour should not classify me in any way, shape or form.
