I gave it a chance. I really did. Its over now, though. I cant make myself feel the love. Windows 8 is bad. Back when Windows 95 came out, I remember being resistant to the change. The GUI was just too weird after years of DOS and Windows 3.x. I was similarly resistant to the changes that came with XP. Having been through major changes like this before, I assumed that I would eventually come to accept Windows 8 if I just gave it a chance. This is not just temporary hate, though. This is full-on Windows Vista hate. Its almost (not quite) Windows ME hate. Every single thing takes longer. Four clicks turns into eighteen for no reason. If it werent for the command line, I would already have gone to a big box store with a baseball bat and destroyed every Windows 8 computer I could find.
