I generally not one to post stuff like this... But this is THE most frustrating day as an attorney in 17 years. I am just shocked that a so-called employment attorney in a big SF law firm cant decipher the difference between two very different causes of action, whistleblower (statute) and violation of public policy (common law). Genius. I dont know who was more angry, me or the employment attorneys own partner who she sent to the mediation who was completely embarrassed by the mediator and myself. Seriously my criminal defense clients may know more about employment law than her. What a waste of time and money...
