I generally prefer to use the word antagonist to villain. To me, villain insinuates that the person in question is evil. In the case of the Avatar world, I wouldnt call anybody besides Vaatu a true villain. That being said, this is how I personally rank the antagonists of TLOK :) 4.) Unalaq - As an antagonist, I thought he had a lot more potential than what was put to use. The idea of having a very spiritual antagonist is cool, especially seeing how he was the first one. I also liked his character design too. He looked very masculine, and very feminine at the same time, making for an interesting look. Unfortunately, he was just very bland. His motives made little sense and he just wasnt that compelling compared to characters from other books. His waterbending looked awesome though! 3.) Amon - Amon is really cool. He gave off such a dark vibe, he was a charismatic leader, he had an epic voice, and he was immensely skilled in combat. Unfortunately, what ruins his appeal for me personally is the fact that he was a bender. If he was who he said he was, he would probably be my favorite villain. 2.) Kuvira - Shes just so badass! Shes a highly powerful metal and earth master, and a natural leader! Even though she does some horrible things, you still end up kind of siding with her anyway because shes just so charismatic. Plus, its awesome seeing another female antagonist! She is similar to Korra in height and body shape so that makes for an interesting rivalry! 1.) Zaheer - He. Is. The. Best. ~Red Lotus
