If enacted it has the potential to allow corporations to sue governments whos laws prevent their profiteering in more or less whatever way they see fit (like how the Infiniti Gold mining company is attempting to sue the Costa Rican govt for repealing a mining license because there was public outcry demanding protection for the rain forest) We (for now) get a small say in what our government does. We dont get direct say in how companies act unless were shareholders in all of them.
