I get home and theres this ugly smelly yellow liquid on my kitchen counter with no origin. No leaks no spills no nothing. But my #cucumber appears to have imploded. So I got to thinking....is this thing sensitive to #ethylenegas?!?! It sure is. Ethylene gas is a natural gas emitted by some fruit that allows it to continue to mature after being removed from the parent. #Bananas are a good example. Buy them green, they will turn yellow. (BTW, itll mature and kill your flowers too *wink*wink*). Turns out #avocados and #mangoes are high emitters of ethylene gas. Guess what was sandwiched between 2 avocados and one large mango? My dang cucumber. I just learnt you something. 😆😃😊
