I get more and more pissed every week about Blake not being coached properly this season. I was very angry last night. I have attached a video that I took during last night at practice. Whats going on in this video is basically what happens during the whole practice / every practice. The kids are just running around the court playing. The coach doesnt do structured drills to teach them individual basketball skills (dribbling, passing, shooting, etc.). He basically just gets out there and plays basketball and has fun with the good players and ignores the players that need more coaching. As you can see in the video, he couldnt care less that Blake (blue shirt) was in the middle of the court spinning in circles and not doing what he is supposed to do (because he has no clue what hes supposed to do). And because the Coach doesnt take the time to help Blake learn the skills, he doesnt know what hes doing during a game. Each season, we pay our fees and expect that our kids will learn more about the sport, but thats not happening this season.
