I get so aggravated when people only say negative things about the Lapeer Hospital, not one establishment out there is perfect all of the time. When my mom passed away at a different hospital,within 15 minutes they were kicking us out of the room to hurry & take her to the morgue because they needed the room. To this day I remember begging the nurse to wait because my husband wasnt there yet with my girls. She coldly said there was nothing she could do, my mom was gone & they needed the room. The 12 years Ive worked at Lapeer not once have I seen family grieving treated that way. I would have no problem taking any loved one there, so sorry when someone says they wouldnt take their dieing dog there it sets me off. Theres always one or two issues in every facility but Ive seen that the Lapeer Hospital employs some of the greatest, sincere, most talented, hard working staff you will ever have taking care of you!!!
