I get so many emails about inspiring women in business and the suchlike - is it just me that finds it all a little patronising? Shouldnt we be trading off our brains, not expecting a round of applause for any amount of success because were female? Call me old fashioned (or maybe the extreme opposite) but Id like to put all of my successes down to intelligence and hard work, and blame all my none-successes on my own mistakes and stupidity, not because I happen to be female...
