I get very sentimental with the books ive read. It brings back the same very nostalgic feeling like as if Im the protagonoist of a book. i recall this one timem I read a book many years back with the ending of the poor protagonist, once rich and famous only to have her future crush her down. She is sitting by the window, with a lighter left over by her long lost dad who decided to come forward to see her after decades and that was the last she saw of him. godknowswhy. This is exactly how I paint myself by my Singaporean HDB window now. Being absorbed in my own world while the Manhatten City rave on along by the roadside, even my side roads. Of course, my country is small, sorry my bad not Manhatten city like I read in my little book but just my neighbourhood. With birds chirping, I feel a certain serenity as I inhale each breath. I start to get comfortable. I draw one leg up, balancing solely on the other leg. Occasionally coming up to get a puff off my cigarette to get a temporary placebo booSt. Brilliant. I love life. (Great now my cigarette have rolled off down my window).
