I give my condolences to jurors conscience for voting an innocent man guilty for a crime he did not do nor was part of. The justice system of Riverside County continuously hide facts and break up conversations, fashions them to sound like something its truly not. How can the jury rely on the word of a drug addict that was given a deal for information to a crime he committed but because a Detective ask about someone else then now that same convicted thief changes his story at least three times. Our constitutional right is that we are able to confront our accuser. The DA stated that he was unavailable. But lack to to inform the jury that he is being housed in the Riverside County jail Indio location just across the street from the court house. He was arrested yet again for a high speed chase, residential robbery, stolen vehicle and so on. This arrest was on March 2,2013. Yet the DA stated that he was convicted in 2012 for a 16 month county sentence. They said they didnt give him a deal yet that arrest in Jan of 2012 he should have received @ minimum 7 years state prison. The other two witness that are now sober changed their original statements and stated that at the time of the original interviews by investigators they were under the influence of narcotics and dont recall conversations clearly. The DA and investigating detective both state that they were sober. My heart goes out to the family who lost their loved one. But to seek justice of an innocent man that had nothing to do with your loss makes them just as guilty of taking the life of an innocent. The jurys job is to only find him guilty if it was proven BEYOND a reasonable doubt. Its sad that this world has become so corrupt that the fate of someones life depends on rumors. I pray that our good Lord above has mercy on your souls.
