I go to BP at least 3 times a day because Im addicted to their pellet ice. Everyone there knows me by name, Im even FB friends with a couple of the employees. If you know me well, or have even met me, you probably know I have a temper. So when I was in a hurry last weekend and the cashier made me take my drivers license out of my wallet to verify my identity for a credit card purchase I got a little upset. This person sees me daily, AND the other cashier even commented you know Tammy! So after saying a few profanities and slamming around stuff out of my purse onto the counter I gave him my license and he completed the purchase and I stomped out still yelling all the way to my car. Last night I read an article about how much energy anger wastes. So today I went again, as I do every day, to get my ice and he was there. I decided I was going to apologize and focus my energy on positive things. As I was apologizing he continued to interrupt and tell me how even if he knows me he is still going to check my ID every time I used my credit card and if I dont want to show him my ID I should pay in cash. It took all of my energy for the next 3 days to not punch him in the throat.
